Vivek Bali Urges Home Minister to Ensure Security of PM Package Employees and Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir | KNO

Srinagar | August 24, 2026: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) J&K State President , Vivek Bali has expressed serious concern over the reported fresh threat letter targeting PM Package employees in Kashmir, stating that such developments have created fear and insecurity among employees serving in the Valley. Vivek Bali urged the Hon’ble Union Home Minister to take immediate and effective measures to ensure the safety and security of PM Package employees and Kashmiri Pandit families residing and working in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that employees who have returned to or are serving in the Valley under the PM Package must be provided adequate security so that they can discharge their duties without fear. He also called for a comprehensive security assessment of vulnerable employees and residential areas. “Threats against innocent employees and members of the Kashmiri Pandit community cannot be taken lightly. The government must ensure that every citizen living and working in Kashmir feels safe and protected,” Bali said. He further appealed to the Union Home Ministry and the J&K administration to strengthen security arrangements, closely monitor threats, and take strict action against those attempting to create fear and disrupt peace in the Valley. Vivek Bali reiterated that the safety, dignity and confidence of Kashmiri Pandits and PM Package employees must remain a priority, and urged the authorities to take immediate, concrete and visible steps to restore a sense of security among the affected community.
